What does “freshly roasted” mean?

At I Have a Bean "freshly roasted" means your coffee is roasted only after you order — never before. Each order is roasted, cooled, packed, and shipped today. You don't need to wait until "roast day." We roast and ship every coffee every day, not just on Tuesdays.

How fast do you ship?

Orders placed before 11:00 am (Central Time) are roasted, packed, signed and shipped that same day. That’s how we keep your coffee peak-fresh.

How long does coffee stay fresh?

Whole beans are best within 21 days of roast, but can still taste great after ~45 days if stored properly — away from heat, light, and moisture. Do not refrigerate beans. Keep them in the cupboard in the same valved bag we shipped them in. Grind right before brewing.
